Raw Material Inward process & testing:
BRI’s rubber raw materials are tested under
                                strict observation on basis of
                                chemical-analytical and physical-mechanical
                                measurements resulting mostly in physical
constants that can be used to determine our
department the purity of the raw materials, such
                                as determination of melting temperature,
Specific Gravity, contents of moisture, dry
                                matter, ash or volatile substances,
determination of viscosity in liquid samples,
active ingredient content, heavy metal content
                                (rubber poisons), refraction index, acidity
figures etc. Our in-house laboratory qualifies
to follow strict methodology to use in quality
control for input of raw materials, which must
                                correlate with raw material purity.

Broadly, materials which are being tested are
                                Elastomers, Reclaimed products, Fillers,
Additive Agents, Curing Agents, Carbon, Oils,
                                etc.

The product specification and the acceptance /
rejection criteria, such as acceptable quality
level and unacceptable quality level has been
predefined by BRI’s technical panel for making a
decision to accept or reject a lot. Any
                                deviation from the written specifications,
standards, sampling plans, test procedures or
other laboratory control mechanisms are recorded
and justified. A certificate of Analysis is
documented for each sample lot drawn from the
batch. All the product’s properties are
crosschecked with the certificate issued by
supplier. All these documents are kept to revive
as and when information is needed. Once
materials are checked to its said property, it
is then entered into the system and stock is
added to the existing ones. If rejected,
materials are sent back to its source.
Accepted entries are then recorded in as Inward
Slip, which states that now the purchased
materials are eligible to be used by the
                                Production Department.

BRI’s Quality control under GMP headed by
Material Indent Department share a common goal
of assuring that the goods received are of
highest purity during constant supply. Their
constant effort is to make new sampling
research, asking supplier to improvise the
quality in a specified manner by sharing
knowledge and improving our range of rubber
                                products.
